New Arrival: WBP Falcon 8S100A G1 ESC(AM32)

We just dropped the Falcon 4In1 8S100A G1.

If you've been hunting for a 4-in-1 ESC that doesn't flinch at 8S and doesn't weigh your X-Class build down like a brick, the WBP Falcon 4In1 8S100A G1 is probably what you've been waiting for.

We built this thing for the people who actually fly big quads — the 5" to 13" crowd, the X-Class pilots who push packs hard and hate when their gear taps out first. Most 4-in-1s either stop at 6S or get so chunky you lose arm space. The Falcon? It happily takes 3S all the way up to 8S, pushes 120A peak, and somehow still lands at 33 grams. That's the whole board. We still do a double-take at that number.

So what's under the hood?

Honestly, the part we're most proud of is the brains. There's a proper STM32G071 running at 64 MHz in there, and it's loaded with our tuned AM32 firmware. If you've flown AM32 before, you know the vibe — throttle feels alive, the response is snappy, and tuning doesn't feel like a fight. You can set it all up in the ESC Config Tool or just open am32.ca in a browser. No drama.

And because power is only useful if the board doesn't cook itself, we went a bit overboard on the PCB. Eight layers, 3 oz copper, fat copper strips right on the main power lines, and the power and signal sides are kept cleanly apart so things stay stable. Then we stuck a double-sided aluminum heatsink on it. End result: it'll hold high current without throwing a thermal tantrum.

Here's the stuff you'll actually notice in the field:

Power it on and it just figures out your signal. No jumpers, no soldering a resistor because the last board was fussy. It'll take Servo PWM, one-way DShot (300/600/1200), bi-directional DShot, OneShot, MultiShot — whatever your stack speaks, it speaks it.

The startup is genuinely nice too. Variable PWM means it shifts the switching frequency with your RPM, so it's quiet and smooth when you're crawling and efficient when you're wide open. And the sinusoidal sensorless startup? That's the thing that kills the annoying startup shake and whine you get from the old square-wave drives. Heavy load, smooth handoff into reverse-EMF — it just works.

Now, the fun part — you can tune this thing to match how you fly. Want reverse? Done. Want it to brake hard the second you drop throttle? There's complementary PWM for that snappy feel. Doing 3D or need turtle mode to self-right? Flip on bi-directional and it'll go forward and reverse off mid-stick. There's stuck-rotor and stall protection so a jammed motor doesn't torch your gear, a brake-on-stop for folding-prop gliders, sinusoidal startup for clean spool-ups, and even Hall-sensor support if you're running a sensored crawler setup. Timing advance, motor KV, pole count, startup power — it's all there when you want to geek out, and it flies great stock if you don't.
