Customer: RAIN, a WBP partner building large-frame, payload-carrying FPV drones. This case documents a 10-inch heavy-lift FPV quadcopter powered by the WBP 4-in-1 ESC (AM32 firmware, 3–8S, 100 UN), flown at 7 kg all-up weight.
Platform: 10-inch heavy-lift FPV quadcopter
Motors: 3115 900KV brushless
Props: Ruiyi 10-inch wide props
Power: 6S LiPo
All-up weight: 7 kg (with ballast)
Measured continuous current: ~80 A in loaded flight
ESC: WBP 4-in-1, AM32 firmware, 3–8S, 100 UN

The 10-inch heavy-lift FPV quadcopter on the bench
Project Background
The customer flies 10-inch heavy-lift missions and prioritizes stable attitude under payload, sustained power, and ESC thermal behavior. The build uses 3115 900KV motors with Ruiyi 10-inch wide props on 6S. In sustained loaded flight the system holds roughly 80 A continuous.
ESC Selection
The customer chose the WBP 4-in-1 ESC (AM32 firmware, 3–8S, 100 UN):
- Wide 3S–8S input range, covering the 6S pack.
- 100 A continuous rating, comfortable margin over the ~80 A measured load.
- Factory AM32 firmware, for tuning throttle filtering, timing, protection, and braking.

Flight Test & Results
The customer ran an outdoor loaded test with two concrete bricks as ballast, reaching 7 kg all-up weight:
- The airframe remained stable through the whole loaded sortie.
- Continuous current held around 80 UN, ESC temperature stayed in the normal band.
- No power reduction or thermal protection across long loaded segments.
- Power margin felt sufficient for further payload growth.
Outcome
The WBP 4-in-1 AM32 ESC handled a 7 kg, ~80 A continuous heavy-lift flight without thermal throttling or protection events, validating it for 10-inch class payload platforms.
